Case Study: ACM

ACM have been working with The Quality Team in order to achieve ISO 14001 certification to support their commitment to environmental improvement and protection.   After many hours of hard work we are pleased to report that ACM were awarded ISO 14001 certification on 11th October 2010.

Remember, Remember, The 5th Of November…

This Bonfire Night thousands of people across the country will be celebrating November 5th with wither a bonfire of their own or by going to a display. It is important to remember not to produce any black smoke or be a nuisance to the neighbours whilst enjoying the festivities.

Gritit Achieve ISO 9001 Certification

Gritit are industry experts and market leaders in winter risk management, primarily by gritting properties during the winter months, completing over 65,000 jobs last year from a network of 92 depots situated throughout England, Scotland and Wales.  Using the latest technology Gritit aim to be one step ahead of the weather, at the right place, at the right time with the right equipment. This philosophy has enabled them to grow a client base ranging from 24 hour regional hospitals to shopping centres and retail parks.

Earlier this year Gritit started working with The Quality Team in order to develop a management system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. After months of hard work we here at The Quality Team are happy to announce that on 21st September 2010 Gritit were awarded ISO 9001 certification and we are looking forward to their final ISO 14001 audit in December.  Their management system will enable them to improve even further their already high levels of customer service and help them run their dynamic and challenging business. World Standards Day – 14th October 2010

World Standards Day is celebrated each year on 14 October to pay tribute to the efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who collaborate within IEC, ISO and ITU to develop voluntary International Standards that facilitate trade, spread knowledge and disseminate technological advances.

The theme of this year’s World Standards Day message is “Standards make the world accessible for all”. With at least 650 million people globally affected by some kind of disability, combined with the rising numbers of older people in the world’s population – one quarter of all citizens are 60 or older– the issue of accessibility to products and services has become more important than ever.
